You love your unconventionality, and a traditional wedding day just wouldn’t feel right. Whether it’s an intimate adventure with just the two of you or a gathering of your closest family and friends, there’s no wrong way to do it.
Letting go of expectations is freeing—but it can also feel overwhelming and stressful to figure out the next steps. Luckily, that’s exactly what I’m here for.
Together we'll co-create an elopement day where the focus is on your experience. Nerves are natural, but I'll be there to get you out of your head and into the moment.
These photographs will bring you back to this day every time you look at them, so let's make sure it's a day worth reliving.
My goal is to make you feel seen and supported. So let me be clear from the start: I believe love is love, climate change is real, abortion is healthcare, and trans rights are human rights. Cue relieved exhale.
You'll receive professionally edited, high-resolution images via digital gallery. From your gallery you can download the images to your devices, order albums, prints and wall art, and share with friends and family.
That's right, all my travel and lodging is covered! No additional surprise invoices.
I'm not just there for you on elopement day, I'm here for you starting on Day 1. You'll get all my knowledge, opinions, and recs, and if I don't know the answer I'll help you find it.
Have I mentioned that no two couples are the same? Yeah, you get the gist. I'll send you a list of things to pack based on where you're going and what you're doing to get the most out of your day while being comfortable and safe.
Not sure how to fit everything in? I'll send you a timeline to get the most out of your day, and to make sure we take advantage of the best lighting opportunities for photographs. Time of year and location have big impacts on lighting. I've got you covered.
Think: hair and makeup, private chef, tour guide... I'll help you do the research to hire a dream team for your elopement.
Your love is unique, and your elopement should reflect that beautiful fact. What brings one couple joy might sound like a nightmare to you. When you book with me, I'll send you a questionnaire that will help me learn more about you and help me make suggestions tailored to your preferences.
National parks, state parks, and even city parks usually require some kind of permit for a wedding ceremony. Even within each system the rules and costs will vary from park to park. I help you determine whether or not you need a permit, what the cost will be, and how to apply.
No matter where you want to go, I will do research and location scouting to find just the right spot for you. I am lucky enough to live, work, and play in Death Valley National Park. My knowledge of the park is extensive, so I can pair you with a location that checks all the boxes. If you have a different location in mind, I have years of experience researching and photographing in other beautiful locations around the country and the world.
I know you're just dying to see the photos after one of the best days of your life! You'll get 5-10 edited photos within 24 hours of the end of your elopement day to tide you over until the full gallery is ready within 6 weeks.

They were such beautiful details and little moments we otherwise would have forgotten. Also, she made my husband and I look like literal models. We’re both camera shy, and you would not guess that looking at our pictures.
Sam & Navid
Her eye for composition and lighting is impressive, and she made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day, which allowed our personalities to shine through. Stephanie went above and beyond, expertly guiding us through various poses and candid shots. Her genuine enthusiasm and warm personality made the day not only fun but also memorable. We've been flooded with compliments from friends and family since sharing the photos.
Head to the Contact page, complete and submit the form. I'll get back to you ASAP with a link to schedule a free consultation call, along with my full pricing guide for your review.
We'll have a video call so I can hear more about your vision and we can all make sure we’re a good fit. Ask me anything! I'll do my best to address any questions or concerns you may have.
To reserve your date you'll both sign a contract and pay a nonrefundable retainer fee.
Congratulations! I'll send over a questionnaire, and then we can get to planning the best day of your life.

On our wedding day, Stephanie made us feel completely at ease. The day of the wedding her gentle guidance allowed us to be ourselves and enjoy each moment while knowing she was capturing everything beautifully. She brought so much joy and had us laughing throughout the day.
If you're on the fence about hiring Stephanie, we would say don't hesitate for a moment. Her talent, professionalism, and genuine kindness make her the best choice.
Yes. I believe everyone deserves beautiful images of themselves. Full stop. I welcome all races, genders, sexual orientations, ability levels, ages, body sizes, religions, and nationalities. Love is love is love.
YES! Hiking is not required. In fact, some of the most popular and stunning locations require little to no hiking at all. If you want to dial up the adventure without a strenuous hike, you could also consider other unique modes of transportation like a helicopter, a Jeep, a kayak, a sea plane, a horse... the options are truly endless.
Of course! I photograph elopements and intimate weddings with less than 40 guests. Guests are definitely welcome if YOU want them there. And the level of guest involvement is up to you, too. Maybe your guests are with you the entire day, maybe you opt for a private ceremony and just have guests at an intimate dinner afterward, maybe you don't have any guests and instead ask loved ones to handwrite you letters that you read together.
I provide light re-touching for temporary conditions like acne or bruising, but I will not change inherent features of anyone's body in post-production.
Absolutely. This is the final step to preserving the investment you made in a professional photographer. Once you receive your digital gallery you can order prints directly to your home. They are made by a professional print lab that uses quality, archival materials to ensure your photos withstand the test of time. And truthfully, they look way better than cheap drugstore prints! The color and clarity of professionally printed photos is well worth it.
When you book with me you'll get a customized invoice where you can pay via credit card.
Yes, all clients must sign a contract. This protects both you and me. My contracts are professional, easy to understand, and ensure we are all on the same page. And now that we've been through a global pandemic, I think we can all agree contracts are critical to handle unforeseen situations.
