Back when this business was just an idea, I was navigating the complexities of COVID-19, readying to move cross-country, and caring for my mother following her terminal brain cancer diagnosis.
My mom’s illness became the catalyst for my own elopement. I married my husband, Matthew, in Sedona with just our immediate family present. It was heartfelt, relaxed, beautiful, full of laughter, love, and great food. I don't regret a single thing.
Since my mom’s passing, the photographs from that day are now my most prized possessions.
Grief profoundly redefined how I want to spend my time and led Stephanie Lamar Photography to where it is now. I honestly can’t imagine anything better than creating art and preserving memories for people on the happiest day of their life.
